This dream called Y2kTots, first took shape when our founder managing trustee then a computer engineering student along with his friend, Meenakshi also a computer engineering student, in one of their photographic expeditions, met Muni Swamy, the rag picker boy of around 4-5 years old, beside their engineering college campus in Bangalore, Karnataka state, India. They offered him a cup of tea and had a casual chit chat with him. His innocent replies to their questions and more than any thing his lovely smile was haunting them for days. It was then they struck upon this most beautiful dream ‘ Y2kTots ‘. So on January 1st 2000, Y2kTots was formed with the support of few like-minded students from various campuses in Bangalore
